The Middle Distillates Trader will be responsible for the development and promotion of middle distillates trading, interacting with companies involved in the refining, distribution, transportation, storage, blending and sale of hydrocarbons. The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge and experience in trading refined products such as: Diesel, Gasoil, Jet etc, including derivatives management.


  • Provide Derivatives Management, including Hedging.
  • Source Diesel, Gasoil, Jet and blending for those products, if needed.
  • Contribute to development of business contracts, including evaluation and development of new opportunities.
  • Participate in negotiations, as needed.
  • Remain current on the legal and economic issues affecting the hydrocarbon industry.



  • The legal authorization to work in the US for any US employer.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 5 or more years of experience in petroleum products trading, preferably Middle distillates trading.
  • The willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position
  • Strong knowledge of US Gulf Coast and Latin America Markets.
  • Strong knowledge of Arbitrage Play.
  • Strong knowledge of managing storage facilities.
  • Knowledge of refineries production in the USGC area and flows arriving to the US from other areas.
  • Demonstrated exemplary negotiation skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Spanish language capability.
  • Knowledge in Biodiesel market.
