The Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Coordinator will work for our Marcellus BU in operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to manage\support day to day operations with supervision of field technicians and contracting staff, collaborates with operations, maintenance, construction, commissioning, engineering and field staff daily to ensure a continual flow of work and support to sustain continuous production, will be required to interact with technical authorities and specialist in other departments and areas to ensure alignment and standards are followed
  • Responsible to coordinate and schedule activities to ensure operational maintenance and compliance targets are met, supports scheduling, planning and executing work flow, will be required to handle emergency work that cannot be work flowed through the planning process
  • Responsible for yearly budget, invoicing validation\approval and purchasing equipment and spare parts management
  • Responsible to develop and assign preventative maintenance tasks and assign frequency base to ensure a proactive reliability program and accurate asset base in CMMS, maintains calibration and certification documents and associated records for field test equipment
  • Responsible to establish and maintain a continual training program by developing, mentoring and coaching technicians\reports, must maintain growing support model for area
  • Provide technical and work flow escalation support to front line operations and maintenance personnel for instrumentation, measurement, electrical and automation system during break-fix situations
  • Recommend continuous improvements of process control and preventative maintenance programs at all facilities while ensuring safe, reliable and efficient production
  • Assists in troubleshooting DCS, RTU, PLC, SCADA systems, communication networks and related equipment
  • Actively participate as a member of the leadership team, develop initiatives, focused direction setting, promote safety, reliable production, and instilling core values
  • Any other reasonable activity required by management

Qualifications

  • Dual ticketed, Instrument and Electrical Journeyman or similar certification
  • 10+ years of working knowledge in the Oil and Gas, petrochemical or similar industry related experience
  • Must have experience and understanding of liquid and gas measurement, automation systems, pneumatic controls, electrical distribution and similar equipment  
  • Must have excellent computer skills and familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related software
  • Must be familiar with equipment software such as RS logic 5000, 500, ROC link, AutoSOL, etc
  • Must be knowledgeable with RTU configurations, SCADA communication, PLC applications and control platforms
  • Knowledge and understanding of ANSI, NEC, NFPA & API standards and specifications
  • Knowledge of local, state and government codes and regulatory requirements
