The Learning & Development Analyst will be part of the US Talent Management team in the HR department located in The Woodlands, TX. The analyst will partner with business leaders and HR business partners in the US to ensure employees have access to appropriate training opportunities for their related field. The analyst will also assist with development programs to foster alignment with the corporate office.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and business partners to align employee's training with Repsol's business needs and goals
  • Facilitate development initiatives across multiple business lines, including succession plans and technical competencies
  • Coordinate training and development activities; including room/venue selection, calendar invitations, printing materials
  • Keep track of employee's training and development activity
  • Act as a liaison between the local US offices, corporate training team and external vendors as needed
  • Monitor training spend to ensure it is cost-effective and in line with the budget
  • Manage the mentoring program and assist with mentor/mentee recommendations
  • Gather feedback from the training sessions and communicate accordingly

Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any US employer
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a training and/or development role
  • Knolwedge of the energy industry, especially Oil & Gas, is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of various training methods
  • Must be proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to present to large groups at all levels within the organization
