The Employee Engagement Analyst will be part of the HR department located in The Woodlands, TX. This role is responsible for developing and implementing the local internal communications strategy.  This position will help strengthen the Repsol internal brand fostering a “one Repsol” mindset.


  • Play an integral role developing and implementing local communication strategies
  • Work closely with colleagues in HR and the business to develop integrated communications plans that bring to life the progress being made with our strategy and transformation
  • Manage and continuously improve existing internal communications vehicles, including newsletters, digital monitors, and the utilization of Repsolnet (intranet)
  • Lead the change and communication workstream for various projects, interacting with colleagues at all levels on the HR team, as well as with other functions, departments, and regions
  • Review and provide input on Repsol global communications
  • Write and/or edit a wide range of internal communications materials, including announcements, newsletters, articles, presentations, web content and tool kits
  • Provide communications expertise as part of business continuity and emergency response teams


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any US employer
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, HR, Business or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an employee engagement or internal communications role
  • Knolwedge of the energy industry, especially Oil & Gas, is highly preferred
  • Track record of delivering effective communications strategies and tools that engage a diverse internal audience
  • Passionate about employee engagement and driven to help employees feel a stronger connection with the organization
  • Experience driving strategic communications across a large and complex organization
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical communications levels as part of a global communications team
  • Strong writer/editor with demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into simple understandable messages
  • An eye for detail, and impeccable grammar skills
  • Strong relationship building, client consulting, project management, and planning skills
  • The flexibility and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to excel and perform in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, yet able to work independently when required
  • Comfortable working through ambiguous and uncertain situations
  • High personal ownership in job quality and takes pride in high standards
